Director of "Curb Your Litter : Greenpoint"

Caroline Bauer is the Director of Curb Your Litter: Greenpoint, a project she co-designed with Alan Minor and Dana Rachlin to solve the Greenpoint’s litter problem and reduce overall waste produced in the neighborhood.

Prior to bringing this project to the Greenpoint Chamber, Caroline was a Project Manager at the Design Trust for Public Space, where she worked on a diverse portfolio of projects to improve NYC’s public realm. Her most notable projects at the Design Trust included developing the first-ever data collection toolkit for urban gardeners and farmers and co-editing the forthcoming Under the Elevated: Reclaiming Space, Connecting Communities book with the NYC Department of Transportation.

Caroline has also worked with No Longer Empty, a nonprofit that curates site-specific art installations in vacant storefronts, and the United Nations. She has her M.S in Urban Planning from Columbia University and her B.A. in Anthropology from Mount Holyoke College.
