Success Stories

Joining the chamber has been a valuable addition to my business and personally. It provides a "safe place" for young business owners to ask questions and freely network with other business owners. Having a group of people to answer questions and aid in your trouble shooting is priceless. Speaking with new and old members has given me a different way of looking at areas of business I may never have thought of on my own. The chamber has helped push patients my way, both by word of mouth and by helping in events such as a ribbon cutting ceremony and getting us into the local newspapers. What I love is that when I get an idea of something I want to do, such as putting together a health fair, I have someone to go to that can put me in touch with other healthcare providers as well as other businesses that are willing to help out with our cause. A group of people helping each other is a powerful thing.

WarPaint International joined the Greenpoint Chamber of Commerce in December 2014. We have seen immediate results from being a member by way of networking opportunities, building new relationships and much more. WarPaint recently launched our business in New York City and hosted an event at Verboten, another Chamber member introduced to us by Chamber staff, over fashion week in February 2015. We feel the relationship and quality of service we received from Verboten was a direct result of our affiliation with the Chamber. Many chamber members attended our event and it was a great way for us to get to know them and be able to further network our company. Since our launch event we have been connected to many other members and have plans to host more events in collaboration with them.

We fell in love with the team at Greenpoint Chamber of Commerce the moment we met them because they immediately showed a genuine passion for helping businesses flourish in Brooklyn.  As a new high-tech fashion company, we need local leadership and support to grow our young brand.  The GCC team presented us creative ideas, meaningful contacts and event commitments to help us develop a strong customer following in the community.   We are proud to be members of the Greenpoint Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber acts as a conduit for positive communication with the community that we serve. It is this type of dialoging that has formed the bedrock for which we base a greatest successes--solid relationships that endure. Without these, there is no business.

Eleven33 is one of the newest developments of its kind in Greenpoint, so our biggest priority has been connecting the property and its residents with the local community. The Greenpoint Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental to our success, helping us forge relationships with local businesses and potential residents, reach a larger audience with our news and events, and share our community initiatives and contributions. Our partnership with the Greenpoint Chamber of Commerce continues to benefit our leasing efforts, add value for our residents, and strengthen our relationships in Greenpoint.
